Kris Chester is a strategic and innovative leader having spent 40 years in financial services. Kris has extensive experience in operations, merger integration, business transformation, product development, and client delivery. Kris recently retired from Kestra Financial, having held the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

As COO, Kris was responsible for ensuring Kestra Financial offered financial advisors the highest quality service and operational support while overseeing the continued simplification and streamlining of business processing.

Prior to joining Kestra Financial in 2018, Kris worked for Wells Fargo, most recently serving as EVP and head of Treasury Management Implementation & Delivery. In that capacity, she led a team of more than 750 people that implemented and integrated the bank’s Treasury Management solutions, among other responsibilities. And led the Wells Fargo/Wachovia merger integration effort.

Kris received a BA in business administration – finance from Texas A&M, is a Certified Treasury Professional, and holds FINRA series 7, 24 and 66 licenses. She is now COO Emeritus at Kestra.
