Bala Narasimhan

Bala Narasimhan is a seasoned banking transformation leader with nearly 30 years of global experience across Asia, EMEA, and the Americas. His career spans business, technology, and operations, with a focus on product strategy and large-scale implementations for top-tier financial institutions. After leading core banking transformations in South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, Bala moved to the U.S. in 2008 to head the Americas solution consulting practice for a global banking platform.
Following a stint in management consulting, he joined Intellect Design Arena in 2019, where he now serves as SVP and Head of Solution Consulting for the Americas. Bala advises banks on digital banking, AI, payments, treasury, and liquidity solutions. Known as “The Bankologist,” he’s also a prolific writer and frequent speaker at major U.S. banking and fintech events.
